so, i was invited on a pub tour this week with some international students. oddly enough, it was organized by some aussies, and i don't think i met a single dane there. but, a fun time nonetheless. we went to 5 different pubs around the city, a student bar, an australian bar, a german beer hall, and then two danish venues... i liked the australian venue the best (don't ask me what an aussie pub is doing in copenhagen!), for the reasons that are listed below, with photo documentation.
1. They had an entire room dedicated to Jack Daniels murals and icons.
2. There was a dance floor.
3. They played Sweet Home Alabama, to which I taught a Frenchman to two-step.
4. There was a very LARGE toothy reptile for me to play with.

and i would be remiss to not mention that other "homelands" were feature on our tour as well. this bavarian (munich native) is finally content in denmark amongst all the danish beer.
